At Gogh, we are thrilled to present our latest collaboration with Rex Party, an indie-rock band whose raw energy and innovative sound have captivated audiences. Our task was to design the visual assets for their electrifying new album, "The Fool," encompassing a music video, album artwork, and promotional items.

Visual Style

The visuals for "The Fool" were crafted by Hans Kotaro, the band's bassist and a member of Gogh. Drawing inspiration from Jean-Michel Basquiat and the neo-expressionism art movement, Hans' artwork embodies the album's rebellious spirit and the vibrant chaos of youthful subcultures in Indonesia. His paintings are a riot of color and emotion, mirroring the band's dynamic sound and theatrical production.

Siravaim's work on the music video captures the raw energy and emotional depth of Rex Party's performances, adding a dynamic visual layer to their storytelling.
